Original painting by Alexandra Levasseur

Alexandra Levasseur is an artist from Québec (French Canada) who certainly likes to mix opposite things… After growing up in the dark and cold winter of Québec, she studied art (as well as Spanish) in the tropical weather of Costa-Rica and in the European art city, Barcelona, Spain. Her style is a personal mix of half well planned, half spontaneous and emotional sketchy paintings of girls expressing various emotions gathered day after day since October 2011. It’s also a universal description of feelings, memories with collages of patterns of any kind.

Betsy Walton is a painter and illustrator (freelance since 2006) based in Portland, Oregon. As a painter she works with galleries and collectors, and on personal projects, exploring the tension and balance between the mysterious nature of our existence and the objects and environments we find in everyday life. Influences include Byzantine icon paintings, American folk art, geometric abstraction, and the work of many contemporary illustrators and painters.
